Building regional design capability
I helped establish ASSA ABLOY’s Asia-Pacific R&D centre as it grew to approximately 35 people across the centre. As a design team leader, I managed designers and engineers developing mechanical and electronic security products for international markets.
The work brought together user needs, industrial design, electronics, firmware and manufacturing, with prototypes and testing informing development through to production.
