Clays

The project developed connected physical controllers for Clays’ virtual clay-target experience. Our team integrated multiple movement sensors, trigger detection, batteries and a Raspberry Pi controller into deactivated shotguns. Bluetooth connected each controller to custom game software, translating the player’s movement, aim and trigger input into the digital experience.

We also developed custom multi-unit charging docks to support operation within the venue. Twenty-four completed controllers were produced for the first Clays location, taking the work from prototyping and system integration into a repeatable operational product.
